Crew is considered a Misc Statistic in Sunless Sea.

Description[ | ]

Your crew count influences several aspects of the game:

  • The more crew you have, the faster they consume your SS Supplies Supplies
  • If your crew is below half the ship's total crew capacity (rounded), your ship maximum speed is halved.
  • If your crew is below a quarter the ship's total crew capacity, your SS skullsmall Terror increase rate is doubled.
  • If you lose all your crew, you've SS drownedsmall Lost With All Hands and die.

Additional, many events in the game have trigger conditions and results depending on how many crew members you have. Some events can reduce the crew, right up to complete extinction (therefore game over).
