Fuel efficiency is one of your ship's stats and defines how efficient the ship is at burning Fuel. By default, the ship has 100% efficiency, but it can be improved with certain types of engines. Generally, the higher it is, the better.
Obtaining Fuel efficiency[]
The Tireless Mechanic is a Chief Engineer Officer that can be recruited in London or Frostfound. While employed, he will grant you +5% x Fuel efficiency.
Milebreaker is an Aft slot item that can be purchased at Khan's Shadow from the Traveller's Friend shop for 2000 Echo. The Milebreaker grants +10% x Fuel efficiency
The Serpentine is an engine obtained at the end of the Genial Magician's story line that grants +10% x Fuel efficiency.
The Fulgent Impeller is an engine obtained at the end of the Tireless Mechanic's story line that grants +50% Fuel efficiency.
