- You might obtain this in the
A Raggedy Fellow random event if you choose to Leave him here. There's a 25% chance of the Strong words effect, which gets you cursed.
- There's a random chance to get cursed if you Refuse when collecting Strategic Information from the Mute Exile at Codex.
- There is also a 50% chance from Fumble in the Darkness in Frostfound's
The Dark Room.
- You might also get cursed by Salt if you refuse to cry in a certain random event, or possibly (not 100%) by your crew if you don't fairly punish The Man who Stole the Sun.
- There is a chance you will receive Salt's curse if you plunder the ship at any time during The Secret of the Nocturne.
- You receive Salt's curse by successfully shooting A white zee-bat.
You can lift the curse in 
The House of the Question at Whiter.
Effects[]
The curse can remove your Someone Back Home, A Child in London or Scion qualities upon returning to London.
